Exchanging Bridge for All on Four Implant Treatment?

What will happen when you have a bridge and exchange this for an all on four dental implant? how does it feel?

Hi Bob,

We should define "bridge" as many patients use that term for both removable and non-removable (fixed) prostheses.

If you are referring to a bridge cemented on existing teeth (fixed), then there should be little change in how the replacement bridge feels after the "all-on-4" technique.

However, if you are referring to a removable bridge (full or partial denture), then there will be a big difference. The implant supported bridge will be non-removable and be far less bulky than a full or partial denture.

For example, the palate (roof of the mouth) will not be covered like with an upper denture. Also, with the all on four it will feel more natural and you'll be able to eat more of the foods you love!
