Can the Dentist to the Bone Graft and Place the Implant at the Same Time?

Yes, both procedures can be done at the same time.

Normally a block graft is done when there is not enough width or height of bone to place an implant in the most ideal position. The graft is done first, and after several months, when the graft has integrated with the existing bone, the implant is placed in the correct position.
Sometimes the surgeon will place the bone graft and the implant at the same time, and this saves the patient a second surgery.

The person in the best position to be able to advise you about your best option, is your dentist or surgeon after a dental examination. Do not hessitate to ask any questions to your doctor. Good luck. I hope this helps.
