Hi Cathleen,
You are correct that saliva loss and bone resorption is a concern in patients with Sjogern's disease.
But, you may still be able to get an implant-supported denture. In order for your dentist to evaluate the amount of bone that you have available for an implant-supported denture, he will prescribe a cat scan of both the upper and lower jaws - this will give him the information necessary to make a correct diagnosis for implants.
If you wish, such implant-supported overdentures may be removed at night. Your doctor will advise you on this.
