Mike asks:
I am strongly considering the Marius Bridge. Can you possibly explain why this may or may not be a good alternative to consider?
Do you feel like a dummy when it comes to dental implants? Don't worry. We can help. Below are popular posts for those just starting out with implants.

Honestly, I had never heard of this concept before your question. Overall, without personally seeing you and your dental situation, I would defer to your surgeon in this case if he is competent and done these procedures in the past Hope this helps.

fixed hybrid prosthesis
The Marius Bridge is essentially a variation in design of a fixed hybrid prosthesis. Implants support a metal substructure with then is used to fixate the teeth part. In some cases they are blended together so the entire complex is attached to the implant. In this case they are made as separate components, requiring two sets of screws: one to fixate the framework to the implants, and the other to fixate the prosthesis to the framework.
I don't see any problems with this design. This is ultimately decided by your restorative dentist and determining which is more optimal in your case.
