Sam asks:
I understand why dental implants are the preferred treatment for missing teeth. But, the procedure is quite expensive, at least for me, and insurance won´t cover much if anything for my dental implants from what I can tell. I would like to ask the doctors here, what my options are for payment for dental implants. Do I need to pay for all of this up-front or do dentists usually offer a payment plan? Can I pay for everything over two years, for example? What other payment options might be available. Thanks.

Dental Implants Payment: What Are My Options?
Sam,
In my office and in many other dental offices, various finance companies offer our patients financing. The terms vary from interest free to interest rates based on your credit history. Care Credit for instance can approve a patient for financing in a matter of 15 minutes while your are in the office.
Unfortunately many of these procedures have high costs due to the overhead to perform them.

Payment options for dental implants
Hello,
We offer both short and long term payment plans with no interest through two different companies that we work with.
A short application (via phone or website) is necessary, along with a credit check for approval. Once approved, you do not have to make any payments to our office. Instead, following your procedure or treatment, you will make payments directly to the third party company. We offer these programs through the following companies:
CareCredit and Chasehealth
hope this is helpful
