About Dr. Roya Niakiani
Dr. Niakiani is a specialist in Periodontics with the emphasis in Implant Dentistry. She received her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine at Boston, Massachusetts where she gained extensive experience in mucogingival periodontal plastic surgery, implantology, osseous surgery, guided tissue and bone regeneration, and oral pathology.
Dr. Niakiani completed her ADA-accredited hospital-based General Practice Residency at Loma Linda VA Hospital in California, where she received her certificate in 1995. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California at San Diego where she received a Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in psychology.
Dr. Niakiani is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society.
