Would an Implant or Bridge Be Stronger Over Time?

I have lost tooth 30 do to a failed root canal. Tooth 29 has a crown and tooth 31 has a filling. Both are in good shape. Being my main chewing area which procedure would be stronger over a period of time?

Hi Rick,

In general, a single dental implant appears to be a better alternative then a 3-unit bridge, considering the lower overall costs and the higher success rate.

An exception can be a severe jaw bone deficiency and a need for advanced bone grafting techniques to prepare the site for an implant.

In those cases, increased costs, length of treatment and risk for complications can allow a bridge strategy to be the first option.
