About Richard I. Weiss , DDS

Dr. Weiss graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1977 and has been a student in his field for over three decades. His journey in dentistry began with his father who was a dental technician and he remembers the many hours helping in the dental laboratory. Dr. Weiss attended the High School of Music and Art in New York City and this is where his art training began. He entered Arizona State University majoring in art and soon found out that he enjoyed studying the sciences as they related to health care. Becoming a dentist was the perfect blend of art and medicine.

Dr. Weiss is a member of the Arizona State Dental Association, American Dental Association, L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, as well as a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American Society of Osseointegration and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantologist/Implant Dentistry and his extensive training in all facets of dentistry benefits his patients greatly.

Our patients range from children to geriatrics and we always welcome new patients. Dr. Weiss has been practicing in the same location for thirty years. He is married with two grown children and enjoys art, skiing, reading and traveling.
